Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 11, 2026
Nimi Games ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Nimi Adventures mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you or your child uses our App.
We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. Our App is designed for children ages 3–7, and we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable privacy laws.
1. Information We Collect
We designed Nimi Adventures to minimize data collection. We do not collect personal information from children, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses.
We may collect the following non-personal information:
- Device information: device type, operating system version, and general device settings, used solely for app compatibility and performance optimization.
- Usage analytics: anonymous, aggregated data about how features are used (e.g., which activities are most popular) to improve the learning experience. This data cannot be used to identify any individual child.
- Crash reports: anonymous technical data when the App encounters an error, used to fix bugs and improve stability.
2. How We Use Information
Any information we collect is used exclusively to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the App
- Provide age-appropriate learning content
- Track learning progress locally on the device
- Fix bugs and improve performance
- Understand which features are most valuable to our users
3. Advertising & In-App Purchases
Nimi Adventures does not display any third-party advertising. The App does not contain behavioral advertising or interest-based advertising of any kind. We do not share any data with advertisers.
Any in-app purchases are managed through the device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and require parental authentication. We do not collect or store payment information.
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, trade, or share personal information with third parties. We may use trusted third-party service providers (such as analytics or crash reporting tools) that process anonymous, aggregated data on our behalf. These providers are contractually obligated to protect data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
5. Data Storage & Security
Learning progress and preferences are stored locally on the device. Any anonymous analytics data transmitted to our servers is encrypted in transit and at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction of data.
6. Parental Rights
Parents and guardians have the right to:
- Review any information we have collected (though we collect no personal data from children)
- Request deletion of any data associated with their child's use of the App
- Refuse further collection of their child's information
- Contact us with any questions or concerns about our privacy practices
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage parents to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
